Breaking News

WHITE COUNTY, Ark. – Two arrests are reported in the investigation of a carjacking-shooting incident that occurred Wednesday morning in Kensett.

The White County Sheriff’s Office has identified them as Jake Brown 24, of Bradford and Carissa Miller 21, of Judsonia.

They were being taken to the White County Detention Center early Wednesday evening.

We spoke to several people in the small town of Kensett and they couldn’t believe this incident happened there.

“Hearing that is shocking. I’ve been here 41 years and I’ve never heard of anything like that never happening because usually you can stop and help somebody and nothing like that would happen to you, so that’s very shocking,” said Christy Chatman, who lives in Kensett.
