LITTLE ROCK, AR — Most people mark their birthdays by looking at old pictures. Laurell Hall is looking back at those precious moments of her daughter with FOX16 instead of her Cleashindra herself.

“Her age now, she’s been gone 19 years. She’s been gone as long as she was here with us,” Laurell said.

Clea hasn’t been home with her family since disappearing from her part-time job in 1994.  Her boss, Dr. Larry Amos, said she left without telling him where.

“I just can’t believe that somebody could come or Clea would leave and him not know,” Hall said.

Laurell has waited on word from the public and police, and a big break came a year ago yesterday when police raided Amos’ home.  Detectives removed items from the house, but, to this day, won’t reveal the results from the state crime lab.

“I didn’t think a year ago when we would do the search we would still be here at this point again,” Hall said.

Since the raid, the evidence arrived to the state crime lab late, which led to the suspension of the crime scene technician.  The city also has a new mayor and police chief.  Laurell can’t say if the changes impress her.

“Because of the experience we’ve had over the last 19 years, I’m just a wait-and see kind of person,” Laurell Hall said.

Above all, she’s waiting to hear on her daughter’s whereabouts.

“We’ve missed her having children, getting married,” she said.
