LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 15-year-old daughter of former Razorback and Olympic runner Tyson Gay has been killed in a shooting incident.
LEX 18 reports that it happened around 4 a.m. Sunday in Lexington when officials say a group of men in two cars exchanged gunfire.
Police say Trinity Gay, 15, was shot in the neck and died at the University of Kentucky hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
The teen was a rising track star and competed as a sprinter at Lafayette High School in Lexington.
