Little Rock police release new information about a deadly shooting on McDaniel Drive



LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –More details have been released in a deadly shooting early Saturday morning on McDaniel Drive in Little Rock.

The deceased man has been identified as 40-year-old Antony King.

A 19-year-old woman was interviewed, but no charges are being filed against her at this time, according to police.

Just after 1:00 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call and found King suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

A person had called the police after hearing a disturbance followed by gunshots.

The woman and other people who were in the home at the time of the shooting were interviewed, but investigators determined no charges would be filed at this time.

Once the investigation is complete, the file will be submitted to the Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office for a file review.

Mr. King’s body has been taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Police are investigating a homicide that happened overnight at a home in the 7700 block of McDaniel Drive.

The identity of the victim has not been released as investigators work to notify relatives.

They say they do not believe there is a threat to the public and that the death was the result of a disturbance at that address.
