PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Two people are dead after a fire destroyed a home Monday south of Little Rock.
Emergency crews were called shortly before 5 p.m. Monday by a person who was driving past the house and noticed the fire. It happened at a home in the 3900 block of Jude Lane, which runs off Willow Springs Road.
When crews arrived, they found two people inside who were pronounced dead.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released pending identification and the notification of next of kin.
Officials say they do not yet know how the fire started.
The bodies will be taken to the State Medical Examiners Office to determine manner and cause of death.
