LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Family of Bradley Blackshire and others met on the steps of the State Capitol Monday morning.
They are angry over the February police shooting that killed Blackshire.
Last week, the prosecutor cleared officer Charles Starks, who pulled the trigger, of any criminal wrongdoing.
The family disagrees with the prosecutor’s decision.
“We don’t want to see another family have to suffer what we are suffering. This is not just about Bradley, this is about every person of color,” says D’Angelo Blackshire, Bradley Blackshire’s Stepfather.
Friends of the family have promised to protest until they get justice.
Investigators say Blackshire was in a stolen car and had a gun at the time he was shot by LRPD.
