Fayetteville Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) – A suspect has been arrested in Oklahoma after an early morning shooting in Fayetteville.

According to Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane, Lee Massey was arrested in Moffett, Oklahoma.

Sheriff Lane says a School Resource Officer from Moffett knew Massey and had him in custody shortly thereafter.

Officials in Arkansas say the victim suffered possible life-threatening injuries.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – One person is reported injured in a shooting that happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department’s Facebook page, the scene was at 1750 W. Bedford Loop. 

The victim’s condition is not yet known.
