NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – More than a dozen federal employees rallied on a North Little Rock street hoping Washington will hear their voices.
The local chapter American Federation of Government employees held signs in front of their building on West 33rd demanding action.
Many there furloughed federal workers all with the same message, enough is enough.
“Regardless of what their politics are real Americans are being hurt this is not about politics this is about paying people for the work that they do,” says Barbara Casanova, Local AFGE President.
The office is currently collecting food and supplies for workers not getting paid, they are encouraging everyone to donate.
