Free Yoga Offered at LR Studio for Furloughed Federal Employees

News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Little Rock yoga studio is helping furloughed and unpaid government workers release some stress with free classes.

Barefoot studio off Old Cantrell Road is offering a month of unlimited yoga at no cost to those impacted by the government shut down.

It applies to new and current yoga clients to help ease anxiety while they’re not getting a paycheck.

“A few of our students have been affected by the shutdown. And we always want to make sure that yoga is accessible to everyone, not just on the mat, but that they can come to their practice,” says Breezy Osborne, owner of Barefoot Studio.

No pre-registration is required, but they do ask to see your government issued ID at the studio.

If the government does reopen soon, the owner says you will still get the full month free.
