Gas Explosion Leaves 1 Injured in Pulaski Co.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Authorities say a person has been burned after an explosion Tuesday night.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) says the incident happened just after 8 p.m. near McAllister Road on the south side of the county. 

PCSO deputies say the person was burning tree limbs and put too much gas on the limbs. When they struck a match, it exploded.

The injured person reportedly then drove to the Arch Street precinct because they did not have a phone. Medical officials were called to the precinct to treat the individual. There;s no further word on their condition.
