Gov. Beebe Honors Veterans at VA Ceremony

News
LITTLE ROCK, AR — Governor Mike Beebe honored those who served or are serving in the military.

The annual Veterans Day ceremony moved outside to the River Market Pavilion on Monday.

Dozens of active and veteran personnel from all branches of the military were in attendance to hear the governor speak about the lack of support for those who served in Vietnam, and how it’s changed for the better since.

“But after the first Gulf War and continuing now, our patriotism has been rekindled among our people to the point that it always should have been,” Beebe said.

Beebe ended his speech by saying Arkansas loves the military and saluting those there.
