Governor Beebe Attends Job Creation Summit in LR

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Governor Beebe talked job creation this afternoon at a summit in Little Rock.

It was the “Jobs Now, Arkansas Works When We Do” summit.

The governor mentioned the success and need for specific starting training for different business, like John Deere.

People cheering him on as he called out local groups like the U of A Community College in Monticello.

He applauded them for gearing up programs preparing students for various work forces in the which the state needs the most.

“To fill these needs can and should be coordinated in such a way that we can be responsive to the needs of a particular industry, or a particular business in a particular geographic area by responding to the training required to fill these jobs,” said Governor Beebe.

He says cases like this set the example for colleges in Arkansas and play a role in the future of industry in Arkansas.
