LITTLE ROCK, AR – A local high school basketball coach will lead some of the Nation’s top players in the McDonald’s All American basketball game.
John Hutchcraft of Guy-Perkin High School in Faulkner County will coach the girls’ East team. Hutchcraft has been the head coach for the T-Birds for many years. His girls’ teams have won the state championship five times (1984, 2001, 2001, 2003, 2005).
Hutchcraft’s daughter Ashley Nance, Conway High girls’ coach, will be his assistant.
The games will be played at Chicago’s United Center on April 1. The girls game will start at 5:30 p.m. and will air on ESPNU. The boys at 8 p.m. and televised on ESPN.
