LITTLE ROCK, AR – A southern favorite was served up in the Capital City on Saturday.
Trinity United Methodist Church hosted the inaugural Mac ‘N’ Cheez Mania at War Memorial Stadium.
It featured variations of the popular sidedish offered by local restaurants and home chefs who showcased their different ways of making macaroni and cheese.
The first-time event seemed to be a big hit with more than 12-hundred people attending.
Organizers were happy about the turnout.
“We want to be seen in our community as those who not only want to serve b are hospitable,” said Betsy Snyder, with Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mac ‘N’ Cheez Mania served as a fundraiser for missions that support children, hunger relief, health and education.
