JACKSON COUNTY, AR – A Swifton man accused in a 2014 battery case involving his girlfriend has pleaded guilty in the case.
Eric Kyle Nicholson, 42, was sentenced to 10 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction and a 60-month suspended imposition of sentence.
He had been charged with terroristic threatening and attempted domestic battery in an October 2014 incident.
The victim in the case told sheriff’s deputies she was taken to a remote area of Jackson County where Nicholson told her he was going to kill her. She said he zip-tied her hands behind her back, poured gasoline on her and then started putting out lit cigarettes on her shoulder.
