  •  Once the books are approved, insert the proper page number for each ad on the run sheet.
  •  Organize and keep track of the insertion orders…this is continuous throughout the month.
  •  Keep up with the web insertion orders and make sure that wed ads are running and expired come down. 
  •  Help organize folders and other materials.
  •  Archive the magazines each month in the sales room.
  •  Make sure that the sales team has sales promos for at least 2 months out.
  •  Make sure all promos are stocked in sales room.

JOB TITLE: 2019 Summer Intern – Economic Education, Little Rock (258248)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is now recruiting for its 2019 Summer Internship Program!

The Little Rock Branch seeks an economic education Intern to support the Bank’s education outreach programming for Pre-K through college educators. The Intern will support and work under the direction of the Senior Economic Education Specialist, located in the Little Rock, AR Branch. The Intern’s work will focus on the following tasks:

  • Assist in preparing and conducting professional development workshops and presentations for educators throughout Arkansas.
  • Contribute to written products such as lesson plans, articles, research and other educational materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of participants in outreach programming for the Bank and Branch.
  • Assist with program evaluation and documentation.
  • Support the Branch executive as needed.

This is a 20 hour per week paid internship lasting 10 weeks during the summer of 2019. Weekly hours and start and end dates are somewhat flexible; but generally, internships begin the end of May and run through mid-August.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s program in education or economics highly desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn software applications such as LMS and CRM tools and basic office equipment.
  • Basic understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Punctuality, dependability, and professionalism.
  • Experience working with students and/or teachers in any Pre-K though 12 setting preferred
  • Knowledge of academic standards and benchmarks preferred
