Kitten Stolen from NLR Pet Store, Employees Want him Back

News

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A kitten up for adoption at Petsense store was possibly stolen Saturday.

The cat, named Zack, was one of several Maumelle Friends of the Animals group put on display in the store.

Jean Lewis, the group’s president, says two men were reported to be asking about the cats in the store on Saturday, just a few minutes before a store employee found Zack’s kennel forced open and he was gone.

Humane traps were set inside and outside the store but Zack never showed up and now the group is hanging posters all over town.

“At this point we just want him back…we want Zack to come back…and no questions asked,” says Jean Lewis.

Zack the cat is almost six months old, all black with a white patch on his neck.

He is supposed to take medication twice a day.

If you have any information on Zack’s whereabouts, you can contact the Petsense store, Maumelle Friends of the animals, or even North Little Rock Police.
