Lightning strikes worker loading plane at Clinton National Airport

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A lightning strike at Clinton National Airport late Tuesday evening knocked a man unconscious.

A Little Rock Police Department report says it happened around 11:45 p.m. as Darin Campbell, 52, of Alexander, loaded a UPS plane.

Police say the victim was unconscious for several minutes but when the fire department and paramedics arrived he was alert, coherent and able to walk to the ambulance.

He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
