LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. and other city officials gave an update on the city’s response to the March 31 tornado.
For the past few months, officials have given updates on the city’s cleanup efforts following the tornado. Scott said that the city has extended the debris pickup deadline from June 11 to June 25. This is the deadline for residents in affected areas to have debris at the end of their street.
March 31 was also a devastating day for surrounding areas including Cross County. The National Weather Service confirmed that at least five tornadoes touched down in Arkansas that day.
