WHITE COUNTY, Ark. – A man has been found dead four days after he was last seen leaving his Griffithville home.

The White County Sheriff’s Office says Darrell Foshee, 65, had left his home on Feb. 9. When he did not return home within two days, his family called the WCSO and deputies began a search with help from several local agencies.

Detectives also received numerous tips about possible sightings of the missing man, all of which were “thoroughly investigated,” the WCSO said.

On Tuesday morning, Foshee’s body was found in a wooded area in Griffithville.

The investigation into his death continues, but authorities say no foul play is suspected.
