COLLIN COUNTY, Texas – Former Razorback-turned-NFL player Darren McFadden has been arrested on a DWI charge in Texas.
Online records show he was booked into the Collin County, Texas jail on Monday. He is also charged with Resisting Arrest.
McFadden, 32, last played three seasons for the Dallas Cowboys, and left the team in 2017. Before that he played seven seasons with the Oakland Raiders.
The McKinney Police Department released this information on the arrest:
“We received a call just after midnight from employees at the Whataburger in the 9000 block of W. University about a man who was asleep in the drive through. The driver was identified as Darren McFadden. He was arrested and taken to the Collin County jail, charged with DWI and resisting arrest.”
McFadden is out of jail on a Personal Recognizance Bond.
