Dog Injured When Gun Fired at Little Rock Home

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A local family reported its dog was shot in an early morning incident.

The Little Rock Police Department says it happened around 2:15 along Allyson Circle.

The neighborhood is north of W. 65th St. on the city’s southwest side.

Four children aged 8 to 12 and two adults were inside the home when several gunshots were fired outside soon after their dog had been let out. A man who lives in the home told police the dog had injuries to its back leg.

The shots were reported to have come from a lime green older model Mustang.

Officers checked the house and found three bullet holes in a southwest window, along with six shell casings in the street.
