LONSDALE, Ark.– The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes touched down in Garland County Friday night.

Reports from the  National Weather Service (NWS) says that an EF-1 and EF-2 tornado hit Lonsdale.

According to the NWS, the first tornado, an EF-2, started around 10:30 p.m.,and traveled 1.2 miles. The second one, an EF-1, started around 10:32 p.m., and traveled 1.9 miles.

Authorities day around 40 structures were damaged.

Responders say many people were shook up, but there were no reports of injuries.
