WHITE HALL, Ark. – A fire broke out at a construction site in White Hall.

A construction site located behind the Jefferson Regional Wellness Center in White Hall caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

Video of the fire from a viewer shows black smoke billowing out of the building being constructed.

JRMC officials said in a statement that a fire had broken out on the roof of the Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital.

“Construction work will remain paused this week as the team evaluates damage and determines next steps,” the statement said.

Officials said first responders arrived quickly and extinguished the flames. All worksite personnel were accounted for and there were no serious injuries.
