LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Some really big fish are swimming in community ponds and the anglers that reel them in will get more than a nice meal.
This week, Arkansas Game & Fish Commission (AGFC) crews are stocking fishing ponds like the one at MacArthur Park in Little Rock with blue catfish.
The fish weighing between 10 and 50 pounds have been specially tagged for prizes.
The lucky angler who catches one of the huge fish will need to call the number on the yellow tag to find out what they've won.
"Just take time, make some memories, take time and enjoy your family and friends and big fish like this would definitely make a memory," says Clint Coleman with AGFC.
Six hundred blue catfish weighing a total of more than 12-thousand pounds were donated for the community fishing project.
