Little Rock Police testifying to lawmakers about riots

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A joint committee of Arkansas State Senate and House lawmakers are hearing testimony about how police responded to protests and rioting around the Capitol in the wake of George Floyd’s death. 

The City, County & Local Affairs Committee is meeting Monday.  

State Capitol Police, Little Rock Police, and several businesses that were damaged in rioting around downtown Little Rock are all expected to testify.
