FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. – A Little Rock man has been arrested and accused of promoting prostitution of an underage, runaway girl. He was charged with a total of 12 counts of various charges.
On Wednesday afternoon, July 26, the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) received a tip in reference to an underage prostitute working in the central Arkansas area. They immediately began an investigation.
Later that same night, FCSO investigators arrested Cedric Mario Jackson, 34, of Little Rock, when he arrived at a location in Conway with an underage girl found to be a runaway from the Pulaski County area.
Jackson has been charged with:
- One count of Promoting Prostitution in the First Degree, a Class D Felony
- Eight counts of Possession of Controlled Substances with Purpose to Deliver, Classes B, C, D Felonies
- Two counts of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class B Felony
- One count of Robbery, a Class B Felony
Jackson remains in the Faulkner County Unit 2 jail on a $1 million bond with a court date set for August 28.
