LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Sen. John Boozman (R-Ark.) gives Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. his full support in helping Little Rock become a safer place to live.

The two met with the interim Little Rock police chief and assistant police chiefs Friday to make sure the city has the federal resources and grants it needs to succeed.

“It’s always great when you’re applying for federal resources that you have the stamp of approval from your United States senator,” says Scott.

“We want to make sure Arkansas gets its share plus some,” says Boozman.

The two also discussed funding for infrastructure and the battle against opioid abuse in central Arkansas.
