UPDATE: Little Rock child suffers self-inflicted gunshot wound

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A child is in critical condition after suffering what investigators believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Little Rock.

The small child was injured around 9:45 pm at a home in the 1600 block of South Elm, according to a spokesperson for the Little Rock Police Department.

Investigators say there were three toddlers in the home, ranging between one and two years old, at the time of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
