Man rescued after jumping into Arkansas River in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A man wearing a life jacket has survived a jump off the Main Street bridge into the Arkansas River.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near downtown.

The Little Rock Fire Department says its crews found him downstream near the airport and pulled him out of the water alive. 

No other details on the incident have been released.
