LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A local man is recovering after suffering gunshot wounds in an incident last week.

A Little Rock Police Department report released Monday says it happened around 10 p.m. Friday at an apartment complex in the 6300 block of Colonel Glenn Road.

The victim, identified as Mohammed Yaffa, 29, of Little Rock, was found lying on the ground in front of an apartment.

He told officers he had been shot at seven times and was hit in the legs.

The police report notes three bullet wounds were found on his right side when officers examined the victim.

A witness said they heard three gunshots and then saw Yaffa running towards his apartment.
