North Little Rock Police: No injuries after Friday night shooting at McCain Mall, search for suspect begins

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – North Little Rock police are saying that no one was hurt after a shooting Friday evening at McCain Mall, but now they are searching for a suspect.

Police say the shooting happened at 6:01 p.m. when shots were fired inside the mall.

According to investigators, the shooter ran from the building heading northbound before officers arrived on scene.

Police were able to evacuate the mall of customers and employees who had sought shelter, while also searching for any other possible suspects

Police say the shooting appeared to happen just outside the Earthbound store on the lower level.

A drone was launched to assist with searching the immediate area, but the suspect was not
located.
