PINE BLUFF, Ark. —  Hundreds gathered for food and fun at a community event Saturday.

Organizers say an 18-wheeler trailer full of groceries and meals were distributed.

The event was put together by Debra Strickland Allen and the First Ward/Living Grace Pantry.

Samuel Walker donated the use of a bounce house for children at the event at the former Southeast Middle School on Ohio Street.

Aisha’s Fish and Chicken, RJ’s Grill, and Jason’s Grill served up the food.

622 people were served, according to the pantry.

The Arkansas Food Bank also contributed to today’s event.
