Pine Bluff PD: 1 shot dead early, Sat. morning

PINE BLUFF, Ark.– Pine Bluff police officers say a 34-year-old was shot and killed around 4:40 Saturday morning. 

No arrest has been made. PBPD have not released any information about a possible suspect as of this publication. 

The press release reads: 

“The Pine Bluff Police Department is in the early stages of a shooting investigation that has left one person dead.

Around 4:40 a.m. officers responded to the area of Expressway and Blake Street in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, they found 34-year- old Ashton Jackson with an apparent gunshot wound. There is no suspect information at this time.

This investigation is in the early stages and information will be released once it is available.
