Update: Name of Deceased Man Released After Officer-Involved Shooting in Pine Bluff Friday Night

Update, Saturday morning:

PINE BLUFF, Ark.- Arkansas State Police have released the name of the man who died after an officer-involved shooting Friday.

Investigators say 34-year-old Danny Lee of Pine Bluff was shot after he raised a gun and pointed it at officers while they were responding to a disturbance call.

It happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. outside of a residence in the 1500 block of Willow Street.

The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for further investigation.

After  completion of the investigation, state police special agents will submit an investigative file to the Jefferson County prosecuting attorney for consideration to determine whether use of deadly force by a law enforcement officer was justified as defined by Arkansas laws.

PINE BLUFF, Ark.- Pine Bluff police confirm a suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting. 

Officers say they received a call around 8:00 p.m. Friday about a man with a gun. 

Investigators say when officers arrived on N. Willow Street, shots were fired. 

Police say the officers were wearing body cameras. 

According to Jefferson County Emergency Management,  no officer was injured.
