LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Six cars were reported stolen on Monday from various locations across Little Rock, according to police reports.
The crimes stretch from near Cammack Village to well south of Interstate 30.
"It just kind of depends on maybe some of the foot traffic that night," Officer Eric Barnes says.
The Little Rock Police Department says it varies on how often crimes like this occur.
"Maybe who was out and about," Barnes says.
Cars went missing from garages, parking lots and apartment complexes.
In one case, two cars were stolen from one family. It appears that thief came back after scoring a spare key to car number two inside car number one.
"Just stay on alert more," Debbie Stehling says.
Stehling lives in Cammack Village, just a few streets over from where a 78-year-old man reported his car stolen from the garage.
"It's a great place to live, and we want to keep it that way."
In several of the stolen car cases, the victims are 60 years old or older.
At least one of the stolen cars has been recovered as of Tuesday afternoon. It was found in North Little Rock.
