Small Storm Causes Damage in Pulaski Co.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A small but powerful storm that moved through Pulaski County Tuesday afternoon left damage in some locations.

Shortly before 6 p.m., the North Little Rock Fire Department ordered a mandatory evacuation for McCain Mall. An official said smoke was reported in one of the stores after the storms rolled through. 

A large tree was reported down near Walmart on McCain Blvd. in North Little Rock, according to storm reports on the National Weather Service (NWS) Office in Little Rock.

The NWS storm reports also noted trees down off Cantrell Rd. in Little Rock.

Power outages were also reported after the severe weather. The total for Entergy Arkansas was just over 2,000 in Pulaski County short;y before 6 p.m. Click here for the Entergy outage map.
