Miller County, Ark. (KTAL) – Authorities have released the name of the missing man whose body was found in the Sulphur River Thursday.
 
Shortly after noon Thursday, the Miller County Office of Emergency Management found the body of Ryan Shane Johnson, 21 of Fouke, from the Sulphur River at the Smith Park Landing.
 
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and the Bright Star Volunteer Fire Deputy assisted in the efforts. 
 
Johnson had been missing since Tuesday night after he was wading in the river, stepped in a hole, and went under water as he was swept away by the current.
