Suspect waits in bathroom, robs Benton Slim Chickens restaurant

BENTON, Ark. – Police are working to identify a robbery suspect caught on camera at a Slim Chickens restaurant over the weekend.

The Benton Police Department (BNPD) says the crime was reported just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 7800 block of Alcoa Road.

Police say five employees were there when it happened and no one was injured.

The BNPD describes the suspect as a black male, over six feet tall, who at the time of the incident was wearing a dark colored hoodie (with blue hood), blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a surgical mask and gloves. 

He reportedly waited in the restroom until closing time, then robbed the store with what appeared to be a gun. He ran out the front door of the restaurant and headed north on Alcoa towards Highway 5.
