Shots Fired During Attempted Robbery at Burger King

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A 12-year-old is in custody in connection to an attempted robbery that took place Monday night at a Burger King. 

Little Rock Police say the 12-year-old is being charged as a juvenile with aggravated robbery.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Little Rock Police say shots were fired during a robbery attempt in the heart of the dinner rush hour. 

The attempted robbery took place at the Burger King restaurant near Geyer Springs. The Burger King is located right behind the Arkansas State Police Headquarters. 

Crime scene technicians could be seen taking pictures of the restaurant's ceiling.

One witness says he saw a man waving a gun around in the store. 

Police confirm they have a possible suspect in custody related to tonight's robbery. 

This is the city's 10 armed robbery in less than a week. 

Police say they called in a detective who's been working all the other robberies to find out if this one is connected to the others.
