Update from PCSO: Two People Now in Custody After Pursuit in Maumelle

MAUMELLE, Ark. — One person is on the run, and two are arrested after fleeing a Pulaski County deputy in Maumelle.

No injuries have been reported.

Authorities searched the area around Wind River Drive for several hours, but now think the third person may have left the area.

The deputy attempted a traffic stop on a white Dodge Charger around 10:30 a.m. after hearing gunshots in the area.

A pursuit ended at a dead end on Wind River Drive.

The driver was immediately taken into custody, and two fled on foot into a wooded area.

One of those two was caught a short time later.
