LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police have released the names of a man and woman found shot to death early Monday morning.
The Little Rock Police Department says the deaths of Stefany Teague, 23 and Christian Ramos, 27, were a murder-suicide. Police say Ramos’ wound was self-inflicted.
The police report on the incident at a mobile home park on Stagecoach Rd. notes a .45 caliber handgun was found at the scene, along with seven shell casings.
A news release issued by the LRPD Tuesday says officers were called to the scene shortly before 3 a.m. Monday at 12109 Stagecoach Road, Lot #240.
As officers arrived on the scene they heard several gunshots coming from inside the home and called in the SWAT team.
When LRPD SWAT officers went into the home they found the bodies of Teague and Ramos.
The news release states that eight other people were found unharmed inside the home. Five of them were children. When police interviewed the eight individuals, they told officers they had been asleep and were awakened by the gunshots. No one saw the actual shooting or what led up to it.
The LRPD says Teague and Ramos were boyfriend and girlfriend and lived together in the home.
