Update: Suspect arrested in fatal shooting at NLR apartment complex

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – North Little Rock Police arrest a man in connection to a fatal shooting at the Wilmington Apartments. 

Officials say Duncan James McBeth III was arrested after he confessed to shooting Tilton McDonald multiple times during an incident in front of the apartment complex on Donovan Briley. 

McBeth faces First Degree Murder and is being held without bond at the Pulaski County Jail.

He will appear in North Little Rock District Court on May 21 at 9 a.m.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Authorities are at the scene of a homicide at Wilmington Apartments located at the 600 block of Donavan Briley Blouvard. 

North Little Rock Police responded to Wilmington Apartments at the 600 block of Donovan Briley just after 2:30 Thursday afternoon after receiving a call about a man being shot. 

Officials say when officers arrived at the apartments, they were told that the victim was taken by a private vehicle to a local hospital, but later died from his injuries. 

Detectives are interviewing a person of interest, according to authorities.
