LR Man Shocked After it Appears His Home Was Targeted by Gunfire

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- A Little Rock man is shocked after his home seemingly was the target of a shooting Friday night.

Corey Click Sr. says he has lived at his S. Pine home for almost five years now and nothing like this has ever happened before.

He says it’s nothing to hear gunshots where he lives, but Friday night those bullets came too close for comfort.

“It sounded like it was peeling through my house,” says Click.

He was home with his 6-year-old daughter at the time and went to the living room to investigate.

“I noticed my TV had a bullet hole in it,” says Click.  “When I went to the door there were three holes in my door, my pantry, my water drain, there’s a hole in there.”

According to what his neighbors told police, a black car entered the alley behind his house, someone got out and shot several times. They say then the car picked up the unknown man and drove away, making it appear Click’s home was the target.

“I don’t have a problem with anybody,” says Click.  “I’m well liked, if I can help anybody out, I will, and I never had a fight around here.”

Little Rock Police say since the start of the year this is the 11th report of a house or car shot up in the city.

Click says he feels like people don’t care anymore and there’s no respect for human life.

“Don’t talk, just shoot,” says Click of the current mentality. “Whoever is teaching them, it’s the wrong way.”

LRPD has not made any arrests.  If you have information, give them a call.
