Make a Difference by Becoming a Mentor

News

LITTLE ROCK,ARK– In an effort to find “Victory Over Violence,” we’re hoping you can help by signing up and change a life of a child in the community.

Hundreds of kids in Central Arkansas are seeking a mentor and counselor. Many of the kids at Whetstone Boys and Girls Club in Little Rock would love to share their interests.

One in three young people will grow up without a mentor, but statistics show kids with a mentor are 52% less likely to skip school or class and the success rates in school and life are huge for students who have that guidance and someone they can trust.

It only takes an hour a week to be a mentor, but the impact will last a lifetime.
