OLA (YELL COUNTY), AR – A local chicken farmer is still assessing the damage to his property in a possible tornado that touched down early Monday evening.
Our reporter Hilary Hunt paid a visit on Tuesday morning to Dusty Walker’s farm in Ola.
Twisted metal that was ripped from buildings can be seen strewn across his property.
At least one metal building was also left collapsed, and at least one metal silo was overturned.
According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, the storm struck at 6:40 p.m. on Monday three miles south-southeast of Ola.
It was described in preliminary storm reports as a confirmed tornado seen by a trained spotter.
