Cohen’s testimony before the House Oversight and Reform Committee is expected to center around payments made ahead of the 2016 election to women who claimed having affairs with Trump.
The Associated Press reports his testimony is expected to be sharply critical of Trump, alleging lying, cheating and criminal behavior.
Cohen pleaded guilty late last year to campaign finance violations associated with those payments and also lying to Congress. Federal prosecutors have said Trump ordered Cohen to make the payments during the campaign.
Cohen is set to begin serving a three-year prison term in May.
