NLR Teen Laid to Rest & Remembered by Loved Ones

News
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR — A North Little Rock teen killed during a carjacking Thursday was laid to rest Saturday.

Family says Aaron Crawford or Tank to his friends was a man who would lend a hand to anyone in need.

Now that his life was cut short, his community and his family say they have a void in their hearts.

Authorities say Crawford was killed early last Thursday at the U.S. Bank on Riverfront Place in North Little Rock.

The recent high school graduate and college bound student was fatally shot while being car-jacked.

Thousands poured into the funeral Saturday morning at St. Luke’s Baptist Church.

Some vehicles lining the road as far as the eye can see were decorated with Crawford nickname Tank.

Authorities say 19-year-old Xavier Pree shot Crawforad after an argument at the bank then stole his car.

As loved ones keep Crawford in their prayers they also pray for gun violence in their community to come an end.
