Officers and Firefighters Fundraise For Special Olympics

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR- Law enforcement and fire agencies are holding an annual fundraising event to help Special Olympics Arkansas. Officers and firefighters will be at the Walmart Supercenter on Maumelle Blvd in North Little Rock asking the community to help support “Boots and Badges” from 10am – 10pm Saturday.

In case you miss them, agencies will be back Sunday August 4th from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Hot Dogs and Nachos along with drinks will be available on the lot so bring your kids and enjoy a great time that is for a great cause.

The money raised from “Boots and Badges” will help Special Olympics Arkansas provide training to the 14,000 athletes and necessary equipment throughout the year as the athletes train to participate in sports and Olympic style competition.
