LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- A new poll shows Warwick Sabin and Baker Kurrus tied for the lead in the Little Rock mayoral race with Frank Scott, Jr. following closely behind.
A big headline from the Talk Business & Politics-Hendrix College Poll, commissioned by KATV, was the number of undecided voters. 34 percent of those surveyed still aren't sure who they'll pick.
Here's how the numbers broke down in terms of support from likely voters:
1.5% Glen Schwarz
22% State Representative Warwick Sabin
18% Frank Scott, Jr.
22% Baker Kurrus
3% Vincent Tolliver
33.5% Don’t Know
"The candidates are not only in a race against one another but also in a race to get to the 40 percent of the vote that would allow the leading candidate to avoid a runoff two weeks later. Our snapshot of the race sends a strong signal that Little Rock voters should prepare for a runoff, however," said Dr. Jay Barth, professor of political science at Hendrix College.
The survey has a margin of error of +/-4.4%.
